Home Tableware & Barware | Circa 1880 Wedgwood Henry Wadsworth Longfellow Pitcher Jug ZV57264

Very few of these beauties exist, with the two most prominent appearing in libraries (including at Harvard). This is the perfect addition for any bibliophile's collection—it depicts Henry Wadsworth Longfellow and a piece of his work on the rear. This pitcher jug was created by Wedgwood for Richard Briggs in Boston, a fine merchant at the time, circa 1880. The pitcher overall is in very good condition with two small flea bites in the handle (please see pictures). It measures 9"wide including the handle, 6.75"tall and 5"deep.
