This vintage 29 piece hospitality snack sets from the 1950s are made by the Federal Glass Company in the Homestead wheat pattern. The 29 pieces consist of 16 elegant clear cut glass plates in an oval palette shape with a swirled Homestead wheat sheaf design. There are 4 clear punch/tea cups with beaded handles and 9 clear punch/tea cups with smooth handles. The plates have a lipped ring to hold the glass punch/tea cups which allows you to hold your cup and plate at the same time. No box. These plates/cups are perfect for any gathering - a book club, ladies lunch or your holiday party. They would make an excellent addition to a retro or farmhouse kitchen collection. They have some marks commensurate with age and use. The Federal Glass Company started in 1900 and produced Depression glass in the 1930s and 1940s and closed in 1980. Dimensions: plate measures 10" x 7" x 1"; beaded handle cup measures 3¼”at the opening, 1½” at the base, and is 2¼” tall; smooth handle cup measures 3¼”at the opening, 1¾” at the base, and is 2¼” tall. The shipping dimensions of 14"W x15"D x 8"H pertain to all plates and cups prior to protective packing.
